Description
The Cañada Blanca Visitor Centre stands in an exceptional setting, opposite the Roques de García and next to the Parador de Las Cañadas del Teide.
At the centre you will learn about how human settlements in this area have evolved over the course of history, and about the various uses they have made of the surroundings and the influence they have had on the landscape.
The centre has a section on the Guanche culture and their relationship with Las Cañadas and Mount Teide, which they considered sacred and called Echeyde.
