The path runs along the first 800 metres of the beautiful Pista de las Hiedras trail, surrounded by the lush monteverde woodland that is such a hallmark of Anaga Rural Park.
Can you guess where the name of the trail comes from?
Well, its name comes from the Canary Island ivy (“hiedra”) that blankets the walls, rocks and trees along the route.
This feature makes a walk along this path feel like a trip into an enchanted fairytale inhabited by elves, fairies and magical forests.
And now, thanks to this accessible trail, this experience is within everyone’s reach.
