Description
Branch of the main PR TF 53 (Cuevas Negras) trail that starts right from the abandoned settlement in Barranco Cuevas Negras.
From this point, where a huge Canary laurel tree grows, reputedly the largest in the world, you will gently ascend Lomo del Topo in a north-easterly direction. On the way you will be able to admire the wonderful panoramic views of the Isla Baja, with notable landmarks that include Montaña de Taco and the Buenavista lighthouse.
Once you reach Lomo Morín, the highest point of the route, you will begin a gentle descent through Barranco de El Til until you reach Tierra del Trigo, the end of the route.
