Description
This route connects Granadilla de Abona with the enchanting Lunar Landscape in Los Escurriales.
Starting from the hamlet of Cruz de Tea, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, the trail ascends through the streets until it connects with a branch of the old Camino Real de Chasna that will take you to La Casa de Los Malejos.
Continue ascending until you reach Las Crucitas. Beyond Las Crucitas you have the option of taking the PR TF 83.2 trail (Camino de La Corredera) that will take you to Las Vegas.
Alternatively you can take the PR TF 83 trail, which follows Camino Real Madre del Agua, Camino Valle Ucanca and the Madre del Agua track and finally climbs up to the area around Los Escurriales, famous for its Lunar Landscape.
Tips
- Always stay on the marked trail and do not enter private property, hunting grounds, water galleries, wells or caves.
- Pay special attention when crossing or walking along trails used by bicycles, horses or motor vehicles and when walking in ravines with water courses.
- Avoid direct encounters with potentially dangerous animals, such as livestock, beehives, and dogs.
- Proceed with caution and watch for obstacles, loose rocks, uneven terrain or steep slopes to avoid accidents and falls.
