Adoption of preventive measures due to adverse weather conditions on the trails of Teide National Park
Measures take effect from March 5, 2025
The Tenerife Island Emergency Plan (PEIN) is deactivated, while preventive measures remain in place on the Teide - Pico Viejo stratovolcano trails, in accordance with the resolution of March 1, 2025. Access is now open for mountaineering experts under snow and ice conditions, by signing a liability declaration during the reservation process.
Access restrictions to the forest tracks indicated in the March 1 resolution also remain in effect.
