Description
A beautiful trail of just over 10 km that descends gently through the Teno Massif and leads you deep into the verdant landscapes of this natural park.
The trail sets off westwards from Erjos square, offering magnificent panoramic views of Erjos with Mount Teide in the background just before it enters the laurel forest that characterises the Teno Rural Park.
From here you will head north-west along the eastern slope of the El Palmar Valley as you begin to glimpse the village of Las Portelas in the distance. At this point, terraced farmland begins to appear and you will also have the option of taking the two branches of the main trail.
When you reach Las Portelas you will have reached the end of the route.
