Temporary closures of Chío Recreational Area and Campsite due to works
The Tenerife Island Council has announced closures at the Chío recreational and camping areas from 16 September for improvement works.
From 16 September, the Chío campsite will be temporarily closed due to improvement works to be undertaken by the Tenerife Island Council.
The recreational area will be closed on weekdays, although it will remain open during the weekend.
This closure is necessary to refurbish and upgrade the facilities, with the aim of offering a better service to visitors and guaranteeing their safety.
The works will last approximately 3 months, during which time the camping area will be completely closed to the public, while the recreational area and the motorhome area can only be used during the weekend and on public holidays.
The Island Council would like to thank users for their understanding and recommends that you consult the alternatives available in other recreational areas on the island if you plan to visit Chío while the works are ongoing.
