Restriction of Access to Forest Areas Due to Adverse Weather Conditions
From 10:00 PM on April 2, 2025, until further notice
Due to the weather forecasts issued by the Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET), warning of strong winds 🌪️ and rainfall 🌧️, the Cabildo of Tenerife has decided to implement a restriction on access to all forest areas 🌲 on the island. Starting from 10:00 PM on April 2, access is prohibited to forest tracks, trails 🚶♂️, and camping areas ⛺, as well as to the Rural Parks of Anaga and Teno.
These measures are being adopted due to the high risk of landslides ⚠️ and falling trees 🌳, and they will remain in effect until further notice. Citizens and businesses are advised to check the Tenerife ON platform 📱 or contact emergency services 🚨 for further information on the restrictions.
