Closure of Benijo Beach in the Anaga Rural Park Ordered
The closure affects Trail PR TF 06.2 Roque de Las Bodegas – Almáciga – Benijo – El Draguillo.
The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has ordered the precautionary closure of Benijo Beach for safety reasons. This measure will remain in effect until the necessary work is carried out on the affected slope to secure and prevent the fall of sediments and rock material.
The Decree from the Government Department of Security, Mobility, and Universal Accessibility was published on July 10, 2024. As a result, access to Trail PR TF 06.2, which includes Roque de Las Bodegas, Almáciga, Benijo, and El Draguillo, has also been temporarily closed.
