Every year, on 5 June, we use World Environment Day to reflect on the importance of protecting our natural environment and promoting sustainability in all our actions.
This year, under the slogan “Our Land. Our Future. We are #GenerationRestoration”, World Environment Day will focus on land restoration, halting desertification and building drought resilience. The aim is not to turn back time, but to grow forests, revive water sources and replenish soils.
Our collective action and our cooperation are essential if we are to meet environmental challenges and ensure a healthy and prosperous planet for all.
